MORNING YOGA SET
Welcome to The Centre of Ki Morning Yoga Set!
Below you will find five yoga classes that have been specifically created for a morning practice. Get your morning routine sorted and do one class each morning of the week. Each class has a different focus and is between 15 to 25 minutes in length. The classes include:
a lying down sequence
a seated sequence
a standing sequence
a self-massage sequence, and
a Salute to the Sun sequence.
In these classes you will get to squeeze, stretch, twist and open your body, getting you ready for the day ahead. If you have more time, you can combine two of the classes for a really great start to your day. By maintaining a regular daily practice, you will feel the benefits of this flow into other areas of your life and you will feel more energy and more relaxed as you go about your day.
If you are new to doing a home yoga practice, make sure you find a comfortable space where you can roll out your mat or towel, have a computer or device that you can prop up nearby so you can hear/watch the classes, and be kind to yourself - it may be challenging at first to do this at home on a regular basis, but I know that every day you make the effort, you will feel the rewards. Morning Yoga: Lying down sequence
This class will take you through a sequence of exercises all done lying on the back. You will squeeze, stretch and open your body, getting it ready for the day ahead.
Morning Yoga: Seated sequence
This class will take you through a sequence of exercises all done seated on the floor. You will twist, stretch, open your body and lengthen your spine, getting it ready for the day ahead.
Morning Yoga: Standing sequence
This class will take you through a sequence of standing exercises. You will squeeze, stretch and twist your body, getting it ready for the day ahead.
Morning Yoga: Self-massage sequence
This yoga class covers various Do-In exercises that are great to do in the morning to wake up the body and improve energy and blood flow.
Morning Yoga: Salute to the Sun
This class will take you through a version of the Salute to the Sun sequence of exercises. This class is aimed at an intermediate level and can be quite strong, so please take care.
