Exploratory Movement Workshop

Do you crave an opportunity to move your body freely, where you can explore and experiment without judgement?

Would you like to be guided through a process of letting go, dropping in and finding flow?

Are you curious about the possibilities that this process will have on your mental and emotional wellbeing?

Does the thought of practising movement in a safe space excite you or take you back to a younger version of yourself? 

I would like to invite you to join me in a 90-minute workshop where all these things are possible.

As a movement experimenter all my life, some of my best memories relate to times when I have felt my body moving effortlessly in a flow state. It is my desire to share this experience with you.  

This workshop will consist of:

~ a gentle warm up to prepare the body, mind and breath

~ an exploration of improvisation techniques and safe moving practices

~ guided movement in space to put techniques and practices into action 

~ opportunities to creatively and spontaneously explore movement with partners and in small groups

~ a cool down and guided meditation 

 

This workshop is suitable for most people. If you would like to attend but have some concerns about your phyiscal ability, please let me know and I can advise you accordingly.

What to bring and wear

Please wear clothing that you are comfortable moving in, a drink bottle and towel.

You will be asked to remove your shoes to participate in this workshop.
