About the Event
These sessions will give tweens and teens the opportunity to explore new ways of moving, build confidence, develop communication skills and challenge themselves in a safe and supportive environment. The aim is to have fun and not take it all too seriously, so we’ll be playing games, doing physical challenges and working on the edges of our comfort zone.
Using the foundations of body awareness and movement in nature, these sessions will include warm up games, running, jumping, climbing, manipulating objects, cooperating with others, roughhousing, stretching and even a bit of meditation, all done outdoors with a trained PE teacher and homeschool mum.
Age range: Tweens to teens. Parents and younger siblings welcome to join in too.
When: 8 consecutive Thursdays, commencing Thursday 4 May, concluding Thursday 22 June, between 1:30pm - 2:30pm
Where: Various locations in Barossa Valley including Angaston Oval and Bethany Reserve.
