About the Event
I'm excited about the next book that will be the focus of the winter edition of the Yoga Book Club. This time around we will be reading The Medicine, A Doctor's Notes by Karen Hitchcock.Â
In this book, she explores the following questions:
- What happens when a doctor kills a patient?Â
- Are GPs overprescribing antidepressants?Â
- Does ‘female Viagra’ work?Â
- What role can psychedelics and cannabis play in treating pain?Â
- What is sickness, and how much of it is in our heads?
I think there will be some really interesting insights to gain from reading this book. Grab a copy from your local bookstore, library or online. Looking forwrd to reading it and sharing in the discussion.
