Join Leah from The Centre of Ki and Lisa from Big Heart Adventures and nurture your mind, body and spirit for three nights at the exclusive Kings Beach Retreat.

This retreat will give you the opportunity to experience a new level of health and wellbeing. The retreat program includes beach walks, daily yoga and meditation sessions, ocean dips (for the brave), journaling activities, a 3-hour guided nature immersion and a healing sound bath. All meals will be lovingly prepared on site from seasonal, organic, whole food ingredients.

Staying at Headland House, you will be treated to spectacular beach and ocean views. The house itself is made from local rammed earth and recycled jetty beams. Snuggle in by the cosy wood fire in the evening and enjoy a bedroom with your own private ensuite. 



At Kings Beach Retreat, there is an amazing diversity of nature at your doorstep. The retreat itself overlooks the beach and is adjacent to Newland Head Conservation Park – a rare ecosystem of high conservation significance.

An abundance of native vegetation and wild flowers can be seen and you may also spot native bird species including the Superb Fairy-wren, Golden Whistler, Brown Thornbill, Peregrine Falcon, Sea Eagle and Wedge-tailed Eagle. Other animals you may see include kangaroos, echidnas, and lizards.

Kings Beach Retreat is also an excellent spot for whale watching. Southern Right Whales and Humpback Whales may be seen during the migration season from May to October. Bring your binoculars!


There are five bedrooms, each with a king bed which can be split into two singles (twin share). Book a room for you and a friend or splash out and book a room for yourself. Each room has it's own ensuite.


If you are coming alone and want to share a room, we can pair you up with someone too. Rooms will be allocated on a first-come basis and a limited number of single rooms will be available.

Friday 7 October

Arrive at your leisure and check in between 4 – 5pm. Settle in with a hot cup of tea and enjoy the breathtaking views of the ocean and Kings Beach. 


The evening will commence with Leah guiding you through a relaxing yoga and meditation session. Afterwards, you will be invited to journal your intentions for the weekend. The evening meal will then be served and you will have time to relax further before settling into bed.


Saturday 8 October

Start the day off with an early morning beach 'joggle' and a dip in the ocean. Alternatively, enjoy a lie in and then hop on your mat for an invigorating morning yoga class. Enjoy a hearty, whole food breakfast and then take some time to rest and relax. 


Before lunch, Lisa will offer a nature journaling session. In the afternoon, join in a gentle yoga and qi gong class, followed by a healing sound bath care of Chris Toms from Harmonic Essence. After the evening meal, you will be invited to enjoy a natural therapy treatment before retiring to bed.


Sunday 9 October

A similar start to the day as Saturday – beach 'joggle' and ocean dip followed by yoga and meditation. After breakfast, take some time for yourself – perhaps a walk along the headland to spot whales, curl up on a cushion with a good book, write in your journal, or enjoy some time schmoozing with other retreat participants.


In the afternoon, Lisa will lead a 3-hour nature immersion activity. Following the evening meal, you will be invited to enjoy a natural therapy treatment before retiring to bed.


Monday 10 October

Another opportunity for an early morning beach 'joggle' and ocean dip followed by a yoga and meditation session. After breakfast, you will have time to reflect on your retreat experience and review the intentions you set at the start. The retreat will conclude at 10am.

Fitness requirement

  • A basic level of yoga experience is required.

  • As this is a yoga retreat, it is expected that you will participate in most (preferably all) of the yoga sessions over the weekend. 

  • A basic level of fitness is required for the outdoor and nature immersion activities (beach walks/jogs, ocean dips, bush walks)

  • If you are carrying any injuries, please check with your doctor and/or physiotherapist for suitability to attend. Any injuries need to be disclosed prior to attending the retreat.

  • This retreat is suitable for pregnant and post-natal women. However, if you are pregnant, please check your suitability for this retreat with your doctor/obstetrician/midwife prior to booking.

  • A minimum of 6 participants are required for this retreat to go ahead. If minimum numbers are not reached, we may decide to still go ahead or we will provide a full refund.

  • You are required to organise your own transport to and from Kings Beach Retreat. Car-pooling is an option and we can assist in facilitating this.
